Grant GeorgeGRANT, George Edward   -  May 3, 1936 - November 15, 2022

Son of Sandy MacLean Grant and Violet Isabella Morrison (both deceased).

After graduating from the University of Toronto with a degree in Library Science, George worked briefly in Toronto before accepting a Library job in England.

Returning after three years, he "fell into his dream job" at the Central Reference Library in Toronto, in the Fine Arts Department from 1965-2001.

His passions were the ballet, the opera, theatre, books, and cats; Fluffy, Peter, Perry, Lady Jane, Victoria, Alberta, Gucci and Angel have been his loved companions.

George will truly be missed by his nieces, Marilyn Cowie (Alan Schwieger) and Diana Wasdell (Chris Casswell); and his dear friends with whom he shared many dinners and conversations.

As per his wishes, there was no visitation or funeral.

Cremation has already taken place.

If you would like to make a donation to your favourite charity in his memory, that would be wonderful.
