Lowndes JenniferLOWNDES, Jennifer McVittie   -   June 4, 1957 to December 17, 2022

Loving mother to Andrew (A.J.) Shieck; mother-in-law to Ariel Taylor; and companion to Micheal Fearon. Predeceased by her father, John Montgomery Lowndes (2017); mother, Marilyn Elizabeth McVittie Lowndes (2022); sister, Susan Lowndes Harrison (2022); and brother-in-law, Michael Jenner Jean-Marie (2019).

Mom will be deeply missed by sister Parry Lowndes, brother-in-law Alan Harrison, sister Margo Lowndes Jean-Marie, brother Jock Lowndes and sister-in-law Anne Howard Lowndes.

She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Jenn was a vibrant, fun, deeply compassionate and caring person.

You could find her in her garden diligently inspecting/pruning her tomatoes, along with managing her condo buildings' gardens, volunteering at the Sunnybrook Hospital Veterans Wing, or at home with her eyes closed, swaying to her favourite band, Genesis.

She had a fierce love for her family and friends, and would always be there to be a shoulder to lean on, or listen to you, in good times and bad.

A funeral will be held at Timothy Eaton Memorial Church, 230 St. Clair Ave. W., Toronto, ON M4V 1R5, December 28th at 11 a.m. If you plan on attending, please follow Jenn's wishes and wear bright colours.

If you would like to honour Jenn, please consider making a donation to the Sunnybrook Hospital Veterans Program https://donate.sunnybrook.ca or to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation https://cpff.ca/donate.
