BLANNIN, Dennis William - It is with great sadness the family of Dennis William Blannin announce his peaceful passing at Ian Anderson House, on January 10, 2023, in his 95th year.
Predeceased by his wife of over 60 years, Margaret (January 8, 2012).
Loving father to his daughter, Sherryn (Mitch); devoted Grampa to Jim (Leigh) and Heather; and proud "GG Dennis" to his great-granddaughters, Margaret Grace and Madeleine Leigh.
He will be sadly and profoundly missed by us all.
A very special thank you to his Churchill Place family for the kindness, care, laughter and love over the past 9 1/2 years. He had a great time!
Continued appreciation is extended to his morning and evening care team, as well as the palliative team from Acclaim Health. Thank yous extended as well for the loving attention from Thistlecreek Health Care.
A great note of thanks is expressed to Dr. Anthony McDowell for his exemplary care of Dennis over the years. Finally, an extreme heartfelt thank you to everyone, including Dr. Lynne Benjamin, from Ian Anderson House for making Dennis' final journey peaceful, not only for Dennis but for his family also.
Cremation has taken place, and no formal services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Ian Anderson House, in Dennis' name would be greatly appreciated.
