Galati FrancescoGALATI, Francesco Galati   -  Born January 1, 1931, passed away peacefully, on February 20, 2023.

Frank, known to many as "Ciccio" or "Pasquale" to the lucky few, is now reunited with his mother and father, Maria Grazia Lampasi and Francesco Galati, who were so very dear to him.

As well, his siblings, Michele, Stefano, Nicola, Antonio, Rosetta, and Raffaele.

Frank leaves behind his beloved wife, Giuseppina; his son and daughter, Robert and Grace; and his daughter-in-law.

As well as his grandchildren, Jessica and David, Renée and Danny, Andrew, Natalie, and Vanessa. Further, his great-grandchildren, Isla, Noa, Leon and Luca.

Though Frank has left in the physical sense, he is not too far away. Frank was a man that doesn't come around too often, once in a lifetime can be coined for his character. Coming from San Nicola, Calabria, Italy, to Toronto, Canada, Frank fulfilled his dreams of beginning again with his cherished wife, Giuseppina.

Frank worked tirelessly to create something for his community and his family -- an Italian grocery store. Galati Brothers featured his old home in his new one -- his culture, his charisma, and his appetite for a new day.

Francesco was many things: a devout Catholic, painter, golfer, Juventus fan, comedian, creative, philanthropist, visionary, but most importantly, he was a family man. Frank will deeply be missed by many, but he leaves behind a legacy his friends and family can only hope to live up to - love.

Guests will be received at Delmoro Funeral Home (61 Beverly Hills Dr., Toronto, on Sunday, February 26, 2023, from 2-4 and 5-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at All Saints Roman Catholic Church (1415 Royal York Rd.), on Monday, February 27, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens.

Donations in memory of Francesco may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the St. Joseph's Health Center Foundation.
