SMITH, Kimberly Ann -
March 29, 1967 - November 19, 2023
Born in London, England, and died in Toronto, at the age of 56, after a 6-month courageous battle with tongue and neck cancer.
Cherished daughter of her late parents, Judith Ann Smith and Hume Eric Smith; beloved niece of Beverley Smith; loving sister to Christopher Smith (Lisa); and adoring aunt to Jack and August Platt- Smith.
She took immense joy in being the mother of her daughter, Nadia Mariyan Smith. Her upbringing was characterized by travel, living in six countries and travelling to dozens more with her father, who worked in the Foreign Service, her mother and brother.
Their journeys created lasting memories that she held close to her heart.
She followed in her parent's footsteps and spent two years studying languages abroad in France and Spain while attending Trent University.
The kindest of souls, Kimberley was truly unique in her gentleness.
She will be remembered by her warm smile and joyful laugh. A remembrance will be held on December 10th from 2 - 4 p.m. in the party room of the Manulife Centre, 44 Charles St. W.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the St. George House, where she spent a wonderful last 10 months of her life (www.loftcs.org).
