PYNISKY, Stephen   -  With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Stephen Pynisky on January 8, 2024, just 17 days after the passing of his beloved wife of 50 years, Barbara-Anne.

Adored father of Andrea (David), Paul-Allan and Sarah; cherished brother of Patricia Garbutt.

Proud grandfather to Juliet.

Loving uncle to: Kimberly (Travis), Jonathan (Tori), Sharon (Nigel), David (Victoria), Patrick, Ian and Rob. Brother-in-law of Nellie.

Predeceased by his brother, Paul Pynisky. Stephen was born in Sydney, NS, and raised in Cape Breton and Toronto.

He worked as a real estate appraiser for many years. A gifted storyteller, he could add humour to most any situation.

Stephen valued honesty and hard work. His greatest joy was his children and his wife, Barbara-Anne.

His gentle spirit will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Covenant House.
