HERTERICH, Werner Herterich - Peacefully passed away, on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at Toronto's St. Michael's Hospital, following years of declining health.
He was born on February 14, 1931, and immigrated to Toronto from Germany in 1954.
He was a Master Carpenter and established a successful construction company, during which time he also built two of his own residences.
Following a very successful career, he retired and built his summer home near Parry Sound. Werner was an avid reader, windsurfer, and maker of his "world famous summer drinks."
He is survived by Ilse, his wife of 73 years; and his sons, Werner Jr. (Meg) and Rainer (Diane); five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A private celebration of life is planned for the spring.
