PRENTICE, Mary Evelyn - With much love, we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Evelyn Prentice (nee Hamilton) on February 27, 2024, aged 89 years.
At home with her devoted husband of 64 years, Ralph, and adoring daughter, Carolyn by her side.
Cherished grandmother to Emma, Margo, Alex, and Damien.
Remembered fondly by her daughter-in-law, Janet and her husband, Ira.
Predeceased by her son, Michael. Mary was a caring wife, mother, and grandmother, and a dear friend to many.
She was born in a small township in southern Ontario and grew up as a farm girl.
She became a registered nurse as a young woman and worked in health care in Toronto and Peel Region throughout her career.
While we mourn her loss, we take comfort in knowing she lived an amazing life where being at the cottage, travelling the world, sharing holiday meals, and spreading good cheer with others brought her so much joy.
A service was held Friday, March 1st and interment will follow.
