Kay LoisKAYE, Lois Beverley  -

August 3, 1934 – March 5, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lois Kaye who died peacefully, at the age of 89.

Lois battled many cancers over the past 40 years and did so with a no-nonsense, positive outlook.

She was a unique blend of strength, tenacity, opinions and generosity.

Lois was born to William and Theresa Kaye in 1934, in the Roncesvalles area of Toronto.

She was a high school English teacher for many years with the Toronto Board of Education. Lois was passionate about her Etobicoke home, travelling, animals, and her friends.

In her final days, Lois was supported by all her many friends and neigbours.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., on Monday, March 11, 2024, from 10-11 a.m. A Chapel Service will commence at 11 a.m. The interment will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dorothy Ley Hospice or the Humane Society.
