ROOT, Erin Elizabeth (nee ERNIE) - Passed away on March 15, 2024, in her 41st year.
Her loss was unexpected, and the family is profoundly saddened. Erin was born June 16, 1983, in Toronto.
Cherished and loved daughter of Anne and Bill Root; sister of Katie Root and Michael Root: aunt to Bronson and Bauer Root; and granddaughter to Eleanor and John Stephens and Joan (deceased) and Bill (deceased) Root.
Erin was also loved by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Erin loved her cat, Turtle, and he will miss her immensely. Erin faced many obstacles in her life, and we are at peace with the fact that she is no longer suffering.
A gifted artist and creative spirit, Erin's art pieces will be forever cherished and proudly displayed.
Our hope is that Erin is painting beautiful canvases of her life, love, her family, and friends, that she left behind.
A special thank you to her many doctors that cared for her, but especially to Dr. Nasimeh Rakhshani and Dr. Mary Vachon. Their care and support for Erin was beyond words.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later day.
