SAMMUT, Anthony "Tony"   - Tony, aged 86 years, passed away at Centenary Hospital on November 2, 2017.

He was predeceased by his wife Carmen and his parents Leonard and Josephine of Malta.

Devoted father to Lisa and Leo and grandpa to Ashley.

He leaves many beloved relatives behind in Malta. He came to Canada as a young man, taught himself English and built a life for himself while creating a family.

His legacy of hard work has impressed not only his own children but many others in the Village at Highland Creek where he was the proprietor of Highland Creek Supermarket until he retired at the age of 79.

In later years, he enjoyed trips to Malta and Fenlon Falls and became pals with a chocolate lab named Benny.

Visitation at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., Scarborough, from 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8th. Funeral Service on Thursday, November 9th at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 200 Morrish Rd., in the Village of Highland Creek.
