WRIGHT, Claire Elizabeth (nee Kelly)  - June 7, 1945 - November 12, 2017

Claire leaves behind her son Scott, daughter Kelley, son-in-law Antony, wonderful siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews from New Brunswick through to British Columbia, her friends Ben, Norm, Cecile and "the Gang" from Outlook Avenue.

Claire was generous and kind to a fault and marched to her own drum beat.

Although she had her share of demons, she would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it and she loved those close to her fiercely. In her younger days she loved dancing to the fiddle and singing.

The family would like to thank Humber River Hospital's 6th Floor ICU nurses, respiratory therapists, critical care Drs. Mandelzweig and Spiegelman, oncology physician Dr. Chung (and her team) for their compassionate care. Should you wish to honour Claire's memory, a good way to do so would be via donation to any one of CAMH, the Canadian Cancer Society, HRH Wilson Site or to a charity close to your heart.

Claire will be cremated and a service will take place in her hometown of Saint John, New Brunswick, next Summer, where her ashes will be buried in the Kelly family plot.

Antony and Kelley will arrange a celebration of Claire's life in the future – TBA. Claire loved the late author Og Mandino and this quote is very fitting: "Treasure the love you receive above all, it will survive long after your health has vanished".
