CLEMENTS, Clifford "Ross" - March 28, 1934 - November 17, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ross, peacefully, on Friday, November 17, 2017, surrounded by family at Sunnybrook's K Wing Palliative Care Unit in his 84th year.
Beloved husband of Marlene (Clare) for over 61 years. Cherished brother of Sandra Will. Predeceased by his parents, Helen and Cliff. Loving father of Cindy and Keith Milne, Steve and Janet Clements, Jeff Clements and Laurie Matunin, Jennifer and John Kapsas and Amy and John Maxted and father-in-law to Laurie Clements.
Proud grandpa to Doug and Jessica Milne, Lauren and James Addison, Lisa and Michael Blois, Claire Clements and Winston Tidball, Brent Clements, Megan, Alex and Adam Clements, Nicholas and Christopher Kapsas, Erin and Matthew Bradford and great-grandpa Ross to Brooklyn, Callie and Austin Milne, Benjamin and Ellie Addison and Rachel Blois.
Best friend to Harry Foster. Last surviving member of the 7-11 Fishing Group. Ross was a respected figure in the Canadian sporting goods industry for over 45 years.
During his retirement, he enjoyed working at Thornhill Golf & Country Club. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Highland Funeral Home, 3280 Sheppard Avenue East.
Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Private family interment.
Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Tire Jumpstart or SickKids Hospital.
