KAY, Carl Anthony  - Passed away November 17, 2017.

He is survived by his sister Carol, brother-in-law Larry Butler, nephews Luke and Seth and niece Sierra.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents Edmund and Irene Kay and his wife of 24 years, Gayle Kay (McLeod).

Carl was a talented man whose love for music could find him playing an old ragtime on the keyboard to shaking his bellows with a familiar polka.

He loved experiencing the freedom of sailing the waters and feeling the cool breeze on his face. Carl loved every neighborhood cat and dog; he tried to be a helping hand to a friend in need.

Life was never the same for him after he lost the love of his life, Gayle. Happiness became an elusive dream that perhaps has only now been found.

The family would like to extend its most heartfelt appreciation to John Carroll, Denny Vanfleet, Garth Smith and Andrew Beattie for their strength, support and kindness and to Carl's circle of friends in his memory.

Please do something kind for someone and may peace of heart prevail!

A farewell gathering will take place on the 7th of December at Gabby's, 157 Roncesvalles Avenue between 3 and 8 p.m. There will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place.
