ELSAM, Elizabeth (nee Kilby)  - December 29, 1917 - January 25, 2018

Peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018 in her 101st year.

She was predeceased by her husband Hugh Charles Elsam.

She will be missed by children Jane Mary Milligan, Catharine Elizabeth Dooley (Patrick) and Hugh Charles Elsam Jr.

She will also be missed by step-daughter Judith "Ann" Lockie (Wayne) and her children David (Christine), Kathy (Mark Staley) and James Lockie. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Kyle Milligan (Bobbi), Kate Milligan, Mike Milligan (Anne), James Dooley, Mary Dooley Thiffault (Matt), Hugh "Chas" Elsam as well as Elizabeth's 5 great-granddaughters Victoria and Kennadie Matthews, Mia Milligan, Sadie and Maggie Thiffault.

Survived by sister Ada Mary Daly. Predeceased by siblings Margaret Isabel Kilby and John Kilby. As well as raising three children and managing a household, Elizabeth was an astute business woman. During the 1960s and 1970s she owned and operated Elizabeth Elsam Trophy Co. She also had a successful career in real estate.

In her 60s she became a top selling residential real estate agent in Toronto. Our family is grateful for the many years of support and loving care provided for our mom by Bernice Wilson and Ida Almakdeshi.

Friends may call at Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre, Scarborough, for a Memorial Gathering on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 2 - 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
