Mariconda LorenzoMARICONDA, Lorenzo Ernesto Annino  - With heartbreaking sadness, Lorenzo passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on January 25, 2018.

Beloved husband of Mariannina. Loving father of Irene, Filomena (Manny), Giuseppe, Amalia and Eduardo.

Dear grandfather of Nina-Marie, Nathan, Rosa-Lee, Ashleigh, Stefani-Jo and Lorenzo-Taylor.

Great-grandfather of Edin Joseph. Lorenzo was born in Rivottoli di Serino on November 15, 1926.

At a very young age, he learned the art of shoemaking, but it was the love of opera music that encouraged him to learn to play the trombone.

In 1953, he wed the love of his life, Mariannina. A year later, they moved to Canada and started a new life together which had them sharing more than 65 years of loving memories. He was passionate about his work during his 29 years at George Brown College.

During his retirement, he took great pride in serving at Masses as a Eucharistic Minister for St. Francis of Assisi and St. Mary's Church.  Lorenzo was a pillar of strength for us all. He paved the way for many while never losing sight of the importance of family, wine and a good laugh.

Friends may call at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst Street,, on Sunday, January 28th and Monday, January 29th from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 30th at 9:45 a.m. in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church (588 Adelaide Street West). Entombment to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to a charity of choice would be appreciated by his family.

He loved all and he was loved by all. Rest in peace, until we meet again.
