POZNAN, Milan   - May 24, 1945 - January 31, 2018

After 10 years of battling ALS, Milan Poznan died at West Park Healthcare in Toronto.

Big-hearted, full of life and with an unforgettable smile that persisted until the very end, he is survived by his loving family: wife Zaga, daughter Stasha, grandson Luka, sister Vera and nephew Aleksandar, father-in-law Milan, brother-in-law Jezdimir, sister-in-law Nada.

Originally from Serbia, Milan was a proud Canadian. He will be remembered for his love of children, easygoing nature that saw the best in everyone and an unparalleled passion for all things Elvis.

The family wants to thank the caregivers at West Park Healthcare Centre and all those friends and family who hold Milan dear in their hearts. Very much a part of that, but not limited to, are his colleagues from GO Transit; the extended Greenwood family and his close family and friends in the Serbian community.

The visitation will take place on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with prayer to follow at 8 o'clock at the York Funeral Centre, 160 Beecroft Road, Toronto.  A private funeral to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Milan's name can be made to the ALS Society of Canada or to the West Park Healthcare Centre Foundation.
