VENTON, Marjorie Gladys - Marjorie passed away peacefully on February 5, 2018 surrounded by her family, a few weeks shy of her 93rd birthday.
Loving wife of the late Howard Thompson Venton, much loved mom to Lyn (Frank) and Kathleen, beloved grandmother to Jordan and Geneva and dear sister to Joan Ashbee, with whom she had a loving friendship.
Marjorie had a strong belief in her faith which defined her life and carried her through her final days.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, who take solace in knowing she has found peace.
Family and friends are invited to Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre, Scarborough, for Visitation on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m., followed by a Service at 2:30 p.m.
Donations, lieu of flowers, can be made to the Toronto Public Library Foundation which fulfilled Marjorie's passion of reading throughout her life.
