Juanita Louise Sternbergh died in the evening of Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto, Canada.

She was the wife of Dexter Sternbergh, her spouse for 54 years.

Born in York, PA, she was the eldest daughter of George and Louise Wink and a sister to Rebecca and Iris, both deceased.

Juanita was a devoted wife, exceptional mother and enthusiastic grandmother to 3 treasured grandchildren, Anna, Max and Ruth. She served for many years as the CFO of the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada and was a lifelong volunteer, acting as a board member of the North York Historical Society and an historical interpreter at the David Gibson House.

She had an easy smile, a joyful laugh, and a refreshing attitude that inspired all who encountered her.

She will be dearly missed and celebrated, always. Along with her husband, she is survived by three children: Daniel Sternbergh and his husband Phil Fernandez of Palo Alto, CA; Adam Sternbergh and his wife Julia May Jonas of Brooklyn, NY and Katy Weber and her husband Matthew Weber of Rosendale, NY.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Davenhill Senior Living community at 877 Yonge St., on Saturday, March 3rd at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Michael Garron Hospital Foundation.
