Libby graduated from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver in 1956, then joined the Sisterhood of St. John the Divine. She served as Hospital Administrator at St. John's Convalescent Hospital, Willowdale.

After leaving the Sisters, she taught in elementary schools (Finch and Cresthaven) until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, cooking, playing her guitar, and was a keen watercolour artist.

An avid golfer, she volunteered on the Golf Rules Committee for many years, doing course ratings and rules at tournaments.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at St. Philip's Anglican Church, 9400 Kennedy Road, Unionville, on Thursday, April 26, 2018, at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow.

Her family and friends etc. would like to thank the wonderful staff at Amica, Unionville (The Marleigh) for their kind and excellent care.
