SCHAFFER, David - David Schaffer "The Kid" of Toronto passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018, at the age of 89 peacefully in his sleep after watching "his leafs" win the hockey game.
Beloved husband of Doreen (Weir) who he cherished like a jewel for 60 years.
Much loved father of son Garry and daughter Carol (David Pace).
Son of the late Ethel and Abraham, brother of the late Irene and Beatrice.
Will be missed by cousins Molly and Freida, nieces Linda (Wayne Moore) Michelle, Marlaine, Esther, great-nieces, nephews and many friends who are like family.
Celebration of Life will be held at the Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre 375 Mount Pleasant Road (East Gate Entrance) on Sunday, May 6th from 12 to 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, if you wish to make a donation in David's memory, you may to a charity of your choice.
A private cremation was held .
