Dellio SevenDELLIO, Steven Michael  - July 16, 1956 - May 2, 2018

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at the age of 61, our Steve passed away at Trillium Health Centre, with his wife of 33 years, Karen (nee Kenny) by his side.

Devoted father of David Steven, Elizabeth Bernadette, and Kathleen Mary Anne.

Cherished son of Michael and Jeanette (nee Cole) Dellio. Beloved brother of Donna Payne (Paul) and Kristine Hughston (Tim).

Kind-hearted son-in-law of Warren and Rita (nee Boudreau) Kenny.

Dearly loved brother-in-law of Ron, Paul, Dan (Ina) and Pat. Fun-loving uncle of Ryan (Kim), Amanda (deceased 1983), Nicole, Kiera, Ashley and Katherine. As a transplant recipient, Steve knew how precious and sacred life was. Generous like no other, even in death, Steve's request to donate what he could was honoured, as he passed along the gift of sight to others. Diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes (type 1 diabetes) at the age of two, nothing was more important to Steve than finding a cure. His hope was to never see another child diagnosed.

To honour Steve's wishes, in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF - Team Dellio in the Walk to Cure Diabetes) (https://m-jdrf.akaraisin.com/15533/team/178185) and/or registering your consent to be an organ donor at BeADonor.ca.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga on Tuesday, May 8th from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-9:00 p.m.  A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 3914 Bloor St. W, Etobicoke, on Wednesday, May 9th at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow.

O Lord you have made us for Yourself and our hearts are restless until they rest in You.
