WIELGOSZ, George Yan Henry  - George died at home, surrounded by family, on Sunday, June 24, 2018 after a hard-fought illness.

George's wife Kristine; his two children James and Joanna (Adam); brother and sister Andreas (Bozena) and Irene (Joseph); nieces, nephews; and many colleagues and friends will forever cherish his memory.

George's contribution to music through his years of service at St. Michael's Choir School and his never-ending pursuit of advancements in the fields of pharmacology and physiology will be missed, but live on in the scientific and healthcare communities.

The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home, 1403 Bayview Avenue, on Friday, July 6th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.  A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael's Cathedral in Toronto on Saturday, July 7th at 10:00 a.m.

If desired, donations may be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Pau.
