MONEY, Peter William - Passed away peacefully on July 15, 2018 in Oakville at the age of 61 after a short battle with cancer.
Surviving Peter are his wife of 38 years, Wendy, daughter Andrea (Joe), son Scott (Katie), sister Janet (Colleen), mother Darlene and many close friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Bill.
Peter was a steadfast and reliable ally of his family and friends. He was kind and generous, a shining example of loyalty and devotion.
He always looked after those who needed care but never bragged about what he did; he took his responsibilities seriously. Sports were woven into the very fabric of Peter's existence.
He leaves behind his beloved Maple Leafs, Blue Jays and his "old-timers" hockey leagues of more than 30 years.
Peter played numerous sports over the course of his life but hockey was his true passion. He was a fierce competitor on the ice but always demonstrated the utmost sportsmanship.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Ian Anderson House or Carcinoid-Neuroendocrine Tumour Society of Canada are requested.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
