JURCZAK, Peter - May 27, 1948 - July 24, 2018
Peter passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at age 70 years.
Cherished husband of 33 years to Michelle.
Beloved father of Matthew (Sarah Smith) and Adam (Lauren Rosenfeld).
Peter will be remembered as a dedicated professor, amateur carpenter, fabulous cook and avid gardener by his friends and family. Cherished memories of him will never fade.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. (Panakhyda at 7:00 p.m.).
Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Volodymyr Cemetery.
Peter's family would like to thank Dr. Frances Shepherd, colleagues and staff at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and Dr. Jonathan Ailon and staff at Bridgepoint Active Healthcare.
In lieu of flowers, to raise awareness of lung cancer in non-smokers, a donation directed to lung cancer research at Princess Margaret or palliative care at Bridgepoint would be appreciated by the family.
