PINKERTON, John - 1928 - 2021 John died on April 23, 2021, at age 93.
He leaves his wife of 64 years, Peggy (Campbell), sons, Cam (Jill) and Chris (Gail), grandchildren, Jonathan (April), Sarah, Chloe, Tess, Kai and Carly, and great-granddaughter, Charlotte; his sister, Shan Abate and family, and the family of his late sister, Pat Porter.
His career was in insurance, culminating in the proprietorship of his own insurance claims business.
As well, he was an enthusiastic sometime boat- and cottage-builder, a willing volunteer, and an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Islington.
He is fondly remembered by family and friends for his generosity, warmth, positive influence and great stories.

After an 18-month battle with cancer, Cam passed away peacefully at Providence Care Hospital, Kingston, Ontario with his family by his side.
Son of the late Claude and Margaret Brown. Proud and devoted father of Kim (Spencer) Brown, and Kyle Brown.

FLORES, Freddie Vila - 1948-2021 Passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at Niagara Health in St. Catharines at the age of 73.
Loving father of Aiza, Jean and Lesley, with wife Julia.
Survived by sisters Myrna (Frank) and Lynn (Dante). Grandfather of Cassandra.
Freddie was born in Villasis, Pangasinan, Philippines to Celestino and Angeles Flores.
He joined the Armed Forces of the Philippines and earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University in Manila in 1972.
He moved to Canada in 1974 and worked at Canadian Tire for 26 years before retiring in 2000.

PEACOCK, Cameron Ross - August 30, 1961 - April 23, 2021
It is with great sadness that the family of Cameron Peacock announces his sudden passing, on Friday, April 23, 2021.
Cam is lovingly remembered by his three children, Spencer (Burlington, ON), Jordan (Pittsburgh, PA), and Brenna (Burlington, ON), and by their mother Judy Vanderwoude Peacock.
Survived by his sister Sue Peacock-Edmonson, her husband Ross (their children Jake and Conner), and his Aunt Ruth. Son of the late Seldon and Hazel Peacock (nee Coalie).
Cameron loved the outdoors, especially being by the water, but most of all he loved his children and spending time with them.

TRIFIRO, Joseph - On Friday, April 23, 2021, at the age of 53, Joseph "Peppino" Trifiro, lost his valiant battle to cancer.
He was surrounded by his loving wife Cynthia, parents Elia and Tony, brother Nello (Cristina) and sisters-in-law Cristina (Francois) and Sandra (Zak).
He leaves behind his loving and adoring children Tiziana, Talia and Stefania and his niece Giuliana.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mom, Shirley Whiteside (nee King), on Friday, April 23, 2021, at the age of 92.
Beloved wife of her true love the late Edmund (Ted) Whiteside, proud mother of Glenn, the late Donald, Patricia (Colin) and Tim (Dinah). She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Brandon, Connor, Jacqueline, Tyler and Natalie.
Shirley was a beautiful soul, and a selfless and giving person.
Everyone who met Shirley loved her positive outlook and sense of humour.
Among her varied interests, Shirley enjoyed playing volleyball, piano, skating, and riding her bike.

McCONNELL, Thomas Walter - Peacefully, at Fairhaven Long Term Care, on April 23, 2021, in his 98th year.
Beloved spouse of the late Iris Mary McConnell (nee Lawrie) for 57 years.
Loving father of Janet Harris (Peter).
Proud grandfather of Lydia and Amelia.Born in Toronto on April 3, 1924, Tom was the only child of Wesley Baker McConnell and Margery Melbourne Wright.
He enlisted in the RCAF in 1942 and actively served at various units in Canada and overseas.
Following WWII, he certified as a licensed Journeyman (plumbing).

TRAYNOR, Donald Edward - We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Donald Edward Traynor at the age of 84 on April 22, 2021. Don passed away at home while caring for his wife, Olivia who is battling cancer.

CUENCA, Celene Beloria - Celene Beloria Cuenca, the 5th child of 8, was born on June 28, 1949 to Vicente Cuenca and Carmen Beloria of Culasi, Ajuy, Province of Iloilo. Her siblings were Danny, Francisco, Joseph, Marina, Agustin, Vicente Jr. and Madoline.
Beautiful and cheerful even at a young age, her sister Marina remembers her as “a shy, sweet and lovely little girl. Being her playmate there was no instance of petty quarrel between us. Ultimately, she extended her unconditional love, great concern and endless support to her family.”; Vicente, her younger brother described her as a loving, friendly and amiable older sister. She is adored by her family and friends. while her other sister, Madoline has this to say about the young Celene: “supportive and loving sister."

PETRAC, Walter Florian - Walter Florian Petrac passed away peacefully the evening of April 22nd, 2021 surrounded by loving family.
He was born in Paris, France on April 1st, 1960, son of the late Ivan and Vera Petrac.
In 1982, Walter graduated from the Design Arts program at Seneca College with honours. This led to having a rewarding and successful career in the packaging industry.
He took great pride in giving advice to an immeasurable amount of people along the way.

SCOTT, Marlene Marjorie (Alguire) - Passed away April 22, 2021 at Langstaff Square Care Community in Richmond Hill at the age of 85.
Marlene was the beloved wife of Terrence Scott for 63 years.
She was the mother of three sons and grandmother to six grandchildren: Cameron and Jane (Hannah-Brie, Liam, Jackson, the late Owen MacKinnley), Kevin, Christopher and Sandra (Corey and Kristin).
Marlene was predeceased by her twin sister Marilyn in 2019 and has a brother John Alguire in London, ON.

BAYERTHAL, Hans Peter - Lovingly known as Lito Peter, died peacefully after a short illness on Thursday, April 22, 2021. He was 86.
Peter was born on February 23, 1935 in Krefeld, Germany, to a family of industrialists. His parents, Otto and Grete, Peter and grandma emigrated to Chile in 1938, thereby escaping the Nazi scourge.
Peter grew up in Chile, going to an English school and finishing a degree in business administration at the University of Chile.

Born on August 11, 1946, she lived to create, led a creative life and proceeded along her journey imbuing a joyful and unique aesthetic in everything she touched.

GEORGIEFF, Judith (Judy) - Sadly, passed away on April 22, 2021, at the age of 65, within days of contracting COVID-19.
Judy was predeceased by her parents, Alex and Eileen (née Geddis).
She will be missed by her brothers Robert (Danielle), James (Caroline) and Kenneth (Kim), her nieces and nephews Tanya, Eric, Nadine, Ryan, Michelle, Jessica and Daniel and their spouses, her aunts and uncle, Merle and Jim Peck and Doreen Belland of Edmonton and Ida Georgieff of Mississauga, as well as several great-nephews and nieces, cousins and friends.
Judy was a person with a great heart who genuinely cared about everybody in her family and rejoiced with them in all their happy events.
Even while in intensive care, she sang "Happy Birthday" to her brother Jim virtually.
