Predeceased by her beloved husband Edvard and her loving daughter Darina.
Survived by her brothers Anton (Margaretha) and Ivan (Mira).
Maria will be lovingly remembered by her son-in-law John, her grandchildren Michael and Jennifer (Jack), as well as her nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years, Neil Faris, and daughter Elizabeth Land (Jim) and is survived by two children Mary (Lori) of Sudbury and Bob (Redha) of Toronto.
She was grandmother to Kate (Chris), Alison (Aaron), Ken (Danielle) and Richard (Cherith) and great-grandmother to Sam, Lizzie, Kayleigh, Holly, Josie and Ellie.

SMITH, Monte - Age 81, passed away peacefully July 6, 2021.
Monte was born in Nakusp, British Columbia to Queenie and Harold.
He was the youngest of three siblings Richard, Les, and Shirley.
Monte spent his childhood in Edgewood, BC. He began his early banking career with Scotiabank in Vernon then transferred to Kingston, Jamaica.
It was in Kingston where he met his wife.

GASTIS, Thomas - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas on Tuesday July 6, 2021. He passed away peacefully in the presence of his family.
Thomas was born February 13, 1944 in Florina, Greece, son to Petros and Constandina Gastis.
He was the beloved husband to Shirley and father to Peter (Helen) and grandfather to Mila, Zoe & Yanna.
He is predecessed by his brother Nick.

RATHGEB, Rosemary Clarke - Died peacefully July 6, 2021 at home in Toronto, age 98.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews and very good friends, including John Grant with whom she spent many joyous times together.
The daughter of Desmond Arthur Clarke and Aline Paradis Clarke, Rosemary was born in Quebec City, grew up in the city of Montreal, and lived in Vancouver and Toronto.
After graduating from the Sacred Heart School in the United States, she obtained a BA in fine arts from McGill University.
Moving to Toronto following her marriage, she took art courses at the Ontario College of Art and Design.

She was preceded by her husband of 56 years, William Bruce. Susie was born in Vancouver on May 27, 1923 to Yoshi Takahashi and Shigetaro Oki.
She is one of five children: Ami, Susie, Mary, Henry, and Tommy.

Mitch was the founder of the Pickering Panthers Jr. B hockey club. Mitch was also the founder of the De Novo Treatment Centre for the members of the construction trades.

Merle was predeceased by her loving husband Fred (2013).
She is survived by her sisters Fran (deceased John Sandfort), Elaine (deceased Carl Peterson), Gail (deceased Keith Bennett), predeceased by her brother Wayne (2015) and sister-in-law Judy (2016).

MANCHEE, Peter Frank Charles - Left us quietly on July 6, 2021, a couple of weeks shy of his 71st birthday after two difficult years of declining health.
Eldest son of the late Charmian Vaughan Manchee and Frank Charles Manchee, brother of Patti (deceased 1988), Melanie (Peter Love), Alan (Bev Bradley) and Denny (Eitan Cornfield, Steve Lapp), adoring uncle of Charmian, Colin, Gage, Gaelan and Allison Love, Roslyn and Gillian Manchee, and Charlotte and Joseph Cornfield, great-uncle of Toby, Peter, Annie and Wally, Pete was a man of huge heart, blessed with a sunny disposition.
Just a week ago, 10 days into another hospital stay, he received the news that there was a large mass on his left lung.
His response: "I guess that's why I'm not feeling so chipper."

PRITCHARD, Alison Marie - 1962- 2021 Alison passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at the Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket, surrounded by her loving family.
She leaves a deep void in the hearts of everyone who loved her.
Alison will be dearly missed by her devoted husband, Marko Kuncic, and by her beloved sons, Peter Kuncic (Michelle), and John Kuncic. She is survived by her mother, Bonnie Pritchard, and her sister, Lorrie Pritchard.
Predeceased by her father, Ernie.
She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nieces, a nephew, and countless friends.

Passed away peacefully, on July 6, 2021, at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, at the age of 97.
Harold was predeceased by his wife Oriana, brother Dr Norman Kalant, and sister Lucille Silver.
He will be greatly missed by his nephews and nieces, their children and grandchildren, his friend and companion Neva Woo, and his many colleagues in Toronto and around the world.

CARR, Susan Lynn - (March 31, 1962 - July 5, 2021) - It is with profound sorrow and broken hearts that we announce that Susan Carr passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre surrounded by her loving family after a courageous, year-long battle with cancer.
