IKEDA, Kenneth Mamoru - Kenneth Mamoru Ikeda, 88, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2020.
Beloved husband for 63 years to Kanako (Connie), father to Doug (Hang), Ross (Colleen), predeceased by Tom (Louise) and Gordon (Susan), and Grandpa to Brandon, Ryan, Jacob, Cole, Bethany and Devyn.
Ken came from a large, yet close-knit, caring family, including predeceased older brother Arthur (Mariko), Sidney (Marie), Edgar, Evelyn (Ken) Sekiya, Kay (Ed) Naganobu, Bernie (Linda).
Ken will always be remembered for his generous and loving spirit, always willing to open his home and heart for family and friends.
Arrangements entrusted with Taylor funeral home, Newmarket. As per Ken’s wishes and passion, in lieu of a service and flowers, donations can be made to the Japanese Canadian Cultural Center, Judo program in memory of Ken who was very honoured to be part of this program for many years.
The family wishes to request no flowers or Koden please.
