Belton BridgetBELTON, Bridget Ann - (September 4, 1973 - January 27, 2021) - Our beautiful Bridget passed away last Wednesday, due to a combination of ongoing health issues and complications related to Covid-19. She was 47 years old.

Bridget was, above-all, a family person.

She was deeply committed to and grateful for her immediate and extended family, which includes: husband and lead cheerleader, Mark Balaban, and adoring daughters Maya and Noa; her father and stepmother, Tony and Beth Belton; her in-laws/second parents, Bayla and Steve Balaban; brothers-in-law Jason Balaban, David Balaban and niece Norah; and revered grandmother-in-law, Miriam Wodlinger.

Bridget shared a special bond with her cherished aunt (and second mom) Pegi Dover; Pegi's husband, Phil Jessup, and cousins Beth, Alex and Chris; as well as Uncle Mac Dover and cousins James and Cailey (Thomas Swerdfager and Sofie).

She was predeceased by her beloved mother, Lexi Baillie (nee Dover), and dear stepfather/friend, Duncan Baillie. She will be greatly missed by stepbrothers Paul, Robert, and Peter Baillie, particularly Paul (Jannice Friedman and children Aaron and Jesse), with whom Bridget was especially close and who sat by her bedside as she comfortably and peacefully slipped away.

Bridget's family is grateful for the outpouring of love and support from their wide circle of friends, including those in Toronto/Riverdale/Leslieville, Go Home Lake, London, ON, and beyond.

Arrangements entrusted with Trull funeral home, Toronto. A celebration of Bridget's life will be held at a later date. In the meantime, the family asks that you give your loved ones a big, warm, drawn-out bear hug on her behalf.
