MORDEN, Margaret Irene (nee WINTER) - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret on Sunday, January 31, 2021.
Marg was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Irene, and brother John.
Beloved mother of Marie Herweyer and John Morden.
Loving mother-in-law of Jordan Herweyer and Erika Morden.
Dear aunt of Scott and Cindy Winter, and great-aunt of Jacob Winter.
Marg developed strong friendships at the Trillium 2000 Seniors Club and Crown Jewels Society in Belleville after moving there from Orangeville.
Marg fought for a very long time with amazing strength, determination, grace, while never complaining and always positive.
The very qualities she lived her life by every day.
She passed away peacefully with her children holding her hands telling her how much they loved her; how much she was loved by everyone who knew her. We take comfort that she is no longer in pain.
Marg's kindness touched many.
She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.
A special family thank you to the Heritage 1 team at Providence Care Hospital and Priority Patient Transfer team in Kingston for their exceptional care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret's memory may be made to Providence Care Hospital through the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
