Vogel JordanVOGEL, Jordan Ellis - October 22, 1960 - February 9, 2021. Beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, bandmate, and friend, we are all heartbroken that Jordan has passed away at the age of 60 after a 13 month battle with cancer.

Jordan, adoring husband to Eedit, proud father to Shanni.

Cherished brother to Candace (David Goodbaum), Sharyl (Philip Einstoss), Lisa, and Dayna (Maria Fowler) and because a guy can never have too many, honourary sister Jill (Ray Parker).

Doting uncle to Madeleine, Spencer, Charlotte, Ella, Nathan and Gracie.

Son of the late Bernie and Gloria Vogel and son-in-law of Binyamin and the late Rivka Dror of Degania, Israel.

Jordan will be fondly remembered by Eedit's family in Israel and the Netherlands: Osnat Dror, Oded and Iris Dror, Yaron and Gali Dror and Yariv and Vivian Dror.

Jordan nurtured a wide and deep circle of friends and will be missed by so many. His life was built around music; having learned to play piano by ear he continued to play keyboards professionally in bands from his teens, through to last summer. Jordan was engaging, warm, steadfast, playful and always a kid at heart. A mentor to many and a confidant to those who knew he could always be trusted. Jordan was not only a consummate gentleman, but a gentle man. More than anything, Jordan was a "mensch".

A family graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021.
