Ferreira MariaFERREIRA, Maria Eulalia Moura - Matriarch, guardian, avid gardener, diva and boss lady, died on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. The anchor of the Ferreira family is now gone, but truly never forgotten.

Maria enjoyed spending her time with loved ones; picnics at Ashbridges Bay, Sunday dinners at home, eating lychee on the porch on Carlaw and caring for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Maria leaves behind an abundance of family to carry on her legacy. Cherished mother of Teotonio (deceased), Margarida (deceased), Miguel, Ana and Susan.

Beloved grandmother of Rose, Jimmy, Celestino, Maggie, Ana, Brenda, Carlos, Steven, Ashley and Crystal.

Adored great-grandmother to Niko, Brody, AJ, Casey, Amanda, Kate, Ashley, Ana, Brandon, Breanne, Sydney, Santiago, Chloe and Scarlett.

Maria spent her 100 years of life loving her beautiful family. Until we meet again. There’s definitely a festa up in heaven filled with an abundance of vinho tinto, espetada, milho and poncha as Maria joins her darling husband, Jose Ferreira.
If roses grow in heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for us,
place them in our Grandma’s arms
and tell her they’re from us.
Tell her we love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is easy,
we’ll do it every day,
but there’s an ache within our hearts
that will not go away.
