FICICCHIA, Maria - It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Maria, who entered her eternal rest peacefully on March 16, 2021 at the age of 80.
Though Maria’s health was failing for years, she never stopped fighting.
Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like.
Nothing in the world ever prepared us for the pain and grief we carry heavily in our hearts.
Along with her family and friends, MARIA will be lovingly remembered by the love of her life, Bruno; children, Saverio, Patrizia, Giovanni, daughter-in-laws, grandchildren & great-grandchild.
She is reunited with her loving parents, Giovanni, Giuseppa and sister, Saveria.
We appreciate the love, prayers and warm messages we have been receiving in this difficult time.
Funeral arrangementsw with DeMarco Funeral Home, Toronto on Friday, March 19th, 2021. The service will take place at St. Wilfrid's Roman Catholic Church, 1675 Finch Ave, Toronrto on Saturday, March 20th, 2021 at 9:30am.
In honour of this truly elegant and beloved woman who adored children, memorial donations can be made to the Hospital for Sick Children and the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
