Jupp DonaldJUPP, Donald James  -  Donald James Jupp, age 92, born on June 25, 1928 in Toronto, Ontario and passed away May 15, 2021 after a brief illness at the Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia, Ontario.

Don was the loving husband of almost 67 years to Georgina (Babe) (Wiltshire) who he met on blind date in Orillia in the summer of 1953 and married on July 10, 1954.

Don was a wonderful and supportive father to Sandra Steven (Henry Neufeld) and Sharon Rose and loving Papa to Jennifer Milne (Tyler), Samantha Rose (Kevin Smart) and Nicole Rose and great-grandfather to Asher Milne.

Don was the youngest of four brothers and was predeceased by Edward (2005), Allan (Bunny) (2010) and Howard (2010) in the same order as their birth to which he used to say with a wistful smile 'I guess I'm next'.

Don and Georgina moved to Richmond Hill in 1957 when Bayview Avenue was still a dirt road and lived there until earlier this year.

Following retirement, Don and Georgina enjoyed trips to Florida, Las Vegas and Casino Rama with friends and family.

Raised as a boy in the Salvation Army, although he ceased attending church as an adult as some of us do, Don always had an affection for "The Army" and the songs and hymns performed by the Brass Bands.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Richmond Hill Retirement Residence and Lambton Meadowview Villa for their outstanding care.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations in memory of Don can be made to The Salvation Army in Canada at salvationarmy.ca .
