Willcox LauraWILLCOX, Laura Jane   -   Laura Willcox, 59, beloved daughter of Jane Mary Grant Willcox and Roy Herbert Willcox (deceased) and sister of Elisabeth, Chris Willcox (Lark Lewis), and Chris' sons Jasper and Emmett, suffered a brain aneurysm on Mother's Day.

Laura died Thursday, May 13, 2021, surrounded by her loving mother and sisters.

She was adored by family and friends for her bright smile, huge heart, bubbling laugh, kindness, compassion, and fierceness for those she loved. Laura and her sisters and mother were incredibly close – dear friends as well as family.

Laura was a beloved auntie to Jasper and Emmett DiGennaro-Willcox, with whom she spent many beautiful moments playing, laughing, and hugging.

The family is bereft at the loss of their dear "Loee," but striving to hold her spirit close and live on with and for her as they would have done together.

A very talented woman, Laura played the piano beautifully, having taken the highest level of lessons at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto.

Laura was a devoted and deeply admired friend to many. Those of us who knew her well, know that there's another angel watching over us today.

In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful, and know it would be Laura's desire, for donations to be made to brain aneurysm research at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto (416-864-5000) or Parkinson Canada (416-227-9700).
