PEGG, Russell Arwood - Passed away peacefully at his home in Mount Albert with his daughters at his side on Thursday, July 1, 2021, in his 96th year.
Predeceased by parents George Pegg and Effie Case and also his beloved brother Floyd. Loving Dad of Nancy (John) and Karen.
A cherished brother-in-law of Gladys Pegg. A very proud Grampa to Kim (Patrick), Andrew, Janice and Jillian (Billy).
He will be sadly missed by his six great-grandchildren, fondly remembered Papa to Kyle, Samuel, Mitchell, Wesley, Colby and his sweet little princess Isla.
Russell grew up and farmed in Queensville. A charming, strong, hardworking, intelligent, kind, caring and outstanding person, whose hand was always out to help others. And had a love for his horses.
Arrangements entrusted with Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home, Newmarket - RSVP required to attend the visitation.
The funeral service that follows will be a private family event, due to COVID restrictions.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Mount Albert Legion or East Gwillimbury Food Bank.
