Trunk DoreneTRUNK, Dorene (nee BENNETT)    - After a full, long life, well lived, the family of Dorene Trunk sadly announces her peaceful passing, in the comfort of her home, on the evening of July 5, 2021.

Married for 65 years to the love of her life, Owen, who she loyally cared for through the last 10 years of his dementia, and did sorely miss since February 2019.

Caring mother of Val (late George), Philip (Kristina), and Bradley (Carrol). Proud "Rema" to Brandy (Jason), Jennifer, Jessica, and Robert (Victoria). Great-grandmother to Barrett.

The Trunk home, hosted by Dorene, was, for decades, a gathering place for 3 generations of her closest friends, who all have wonderful memories of a house full of laughter, love, and camaraderie, including walks in the woods, treasure hunts, and never ending games.

Living an active life, Dorene left her mark in many places. She was the Executive Producer at the Unionville Skating Club; a top Richmond Hill real estate agent; an arts & crafts instructor; an active member of the Midland YMCA, Askennonia Centre, Red Hat Ladies Group, Tiny Beaches Association, and the local bowling league.

Any available downtime she enjoyed in her gardens.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date when all can gather one last time in her home to honour her.

Condolences may be sent to the LeClair Centre in Midland.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MS Society of Canada.
