WOODS, Ernest Maurice Joseph - Passed away peacefully, with his son Ryan and beloved dog Maisy at his side and with the love of his family in his heart on Monday July 5, 2021.

Beloved father of Heather Anne Strasbourg (nee Woods), Lisa June Balko (nee Woods), Ryan James Woods.
Father in law to Ma Rhea Woods (nee Acebedo) (Ryan), (the late Paul Strasbourg (Heather), extended family spouses Chris Dingman (Heather) and Jason Smith (Lisa).
Devoted grandfather/poppa to Brent Joseph Alexander Strasbourg, (the late) James (Jimmy) Bryan Christian Holmes, Bryan Maurice Holmes, Angelina Marie Holmes, Christopher Steven Stanley Balko.
Dear brother to Joan Wilson (the late Raymond Wilson), (the late) Richard Joseph (Lynn), (the late) Frederick Leonard, (the late) James (Jim) Kenneth (Pierette), (the late) Shirley Anne McKenzie.
Long time friend to Charlie Young, Diane Lorefice, Carolyn Hambly, Ellen and Harry Hakomaki, Carolyn Norris, Charlie McDermott, (the late) Ken Booker, and many friends of the RCMP, TSE and IOF Foresters.
He will be greatly missed by his extended family members and friends and the Parish of St. John the Divine in Scarborough, Scouts Canada, all of our cottage friends and many more.
Maurice’s family wishes to thank everyone that has been a part our Dad’s life, you have given Maurice a full happy life with a lot of treasured memories!
Due to COVID restrictions, the visitation and funeral services will be held privately by invitation only.
