MARTI, Elena - Elena Marti was born on November 4th, 1927 in Ceprano, Frosinone, Italy and passed away peacefully on September 9th, 2021 at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Toronto at the age of 93.
Elena is survived by her beloved husband Elio and predeceased by both her sister Lillina DiGiovannantonio (Jack), and brother Natalino DeVellis. She will be missed by her youngest sister Maria Antonietta Foglia (Silvio).
Elena is reunited with her predeceased loving son Italo (Rita). She will also be deeply missed by her beloved daughter Rita Carinci (Emilio). Cherished nonna to Elio (Wendy), Johnny (Natasha) and Melissa (Nabil). Caring bisnonna to Lorelai, Oliver, Matthew, Serena, Sophia, Yasmine and Layla.
Elena profoundly loved her family and will be sincerely missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
Arrangements are entrustd with Jerrett Funeral Home, St. Clair Chapel.
In Lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Elena’s name to the Mount Sinai Hospital Emergency Department or Humber River Hospital.
