In his personal life he leaves behind his life partner Natasha Ksonzek.
He leaves behind his three children Andre, Sherry and Mark Itwaru.
He leaves behind those who benefited from his sixty-four years of teaching.
An unflinching commitment to liberate the minds and hearts of all.
His publications include thirteen books of poetry, fiction, scholarly books, and also essays, bridging scholarly and literary traditional forms. Arnold Itwaru will be an influence and remembered for a long time to come.
