Whyte IsabelWHYTE, Isabel Margaret (nee INGOLDSBY)   -  It is with profound sadness that the family of Isabel Margaret Whyte (nee Ingoldsby) announces her passing on December 11, 2021 at the age of 97.

Isabel was predeceased by her beloved husband William James and by her dear daughter Mary Catherine Whyte.

She is survived by her loving twins, William James Whyte (wife Ada, son William, daughter Diana and their children) and Ann Marie Beacock (husband Lee and sons Devon and Trevor) and her cherished son Gregory Allen Whyte, as well as a myriad of nephews, nieces and other relatives.

Isabel was the younger sister of the late Mary (Frank Brown) and the adored big sister of Thaddeus (Virginia) and James (Sylvia).

Isabel passed peacefully in her sleep at Chartwell Westmount Long Term Care Facility, Kitchener where she resided. Isabel lived a life of substance dedicated to her family and the Catholic Church.

Over the years she engaged actively in Catholic community services, was president of the Catholic Women's League in Ancaster, Ontario for many years and supported many charities with her time and resources.

For the past several years, Isabel enjoyed the devoted care of Corrie Bijl. The family is forever grateful to Corrie for the care she provided. Thank you Corrie.

The family will receive visitors at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 8088 Yonge Street, on January 5, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. COVID restrictions will be in place for visitation and service.  A Celebration of Life will be held on January 6, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church in Thornhill. Interment will follow in Barrie.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
