SPRADLING, Hal Sidney Spradling - Aged 83, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2024, at St. Michael's Hospital.
A man of remarkable tenacity, Hal's life was a testament to hard work and dedication.
He began his career in the Texas cotton fields, later excelling in the textiles and self-storage industries, notably co-founding XYZ Storage in 1997, contributing significantly to the self-storage industry for over 40 years.
A proud US military veteran, he was known for his resilience, work ethic, and dedication.

HARRISON, Barbara Tudor (nee SMITH) - Barbara Tudor Harrison, born in Birmingham, UK, on August 4, 1930, died in Toronto on February 16, 2024.
Raised in London but evacuated during the war to Bridgewater, Barbara graduated with an Honours B.Sc. from the University of Birmingham and travelled to Hamilton, ON, to pursue an M.Sc. in Zoology at McMaster University.

Anne fought a 12-month battle with cancer with grace and determination.

She worked as a physiotherapist in both Canada and the United States where she lived for twenty years.

Beloved husband of Laura, who he met when he was 15 and was married to for 70 years. Alex also leaves his nieces and nephews, Glenn (Michele), John (Theresa), Alison (Rod), Ian (Linda), Angus (Sarah), Laura and their families.
A Professor Emeritus of York University, Faculty of Environmental Studies, Alex focused on urban and social change at McMaster BA, King's College London MA and Penn PhD.

Born and raised on a homestead in Sharpewood, Manitoba, Sabina ventured to Winnipeg at the age of 18, eventually making her way to Toronto. There, she met and married Thomas Feeley.

Predeceased by her parents, Janet and William Baird. Mary started her rich career at CBC Radio and TV over 30 years ago.
One of the highlights of Mary's career was being presented to The Queen and Prince Philip on the occasion of CBC TV's 50th anniversary.
