MARKES, Andrej - It is with heavy hearts that the family of Andrej (Andy) Markes announces his sudden passing on March 12, 2018 due to pancreatic cancer.
Predeceased by his parents, Peter (1985) and Marija Markes (2011), Andrej leaves behind his wife and soul mate Linda whose life he shared for 36 years, his loving daughter Sonia and husband Jonathan and dear son James, whose lives he faithfully nurtured and supported as a proud father.
Andrej also leaves behind his loving sister Carmen with husband Richard, dear brother Peter with Maria, the beloved extended Cuthbert family along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation to take place at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre, Toronto, on Tuesday, March 20th from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 21st from 4 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, March 22nd from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anselm's Parish, 1 Macnaughton Road, East York on Friday, March 23rd at 11 a.m.
