HOSTEN, Myrtle - After a fabulous life, Mrs. Myrtle Hosten, widow of the late Honorable George F. Hosten, died peacefully on Sunday, April 22, 2018 surrounded by family and friends.
She is survived by daughters Rachele and Nicole and grandson Mischa.
To her sister Grace Noel and lifelong friends Elsa Browne and Bridget North, thank you for your unconditional love and support.
A pioneering woman, Myrtle was a radiology technician, one of the first to use the CT scan.
She was an avid gardener and fantastic cook, with an infectious laugh and brilliant words of wisdom.
Myrtle believed in philanthropy and giving back.
She always said, "Canada has been very good to me."
Memorial contributions may be made to the Toronto Star Fresh Air Fund.
