BARNSDALE, Heather Ann Barnsdale

Passed away suddenly as a result of a motor vehicle accident at the age of 71. She will be dearly missed by her partner John Cooper, her son Michael Hopkins, stepson Stephen Barnsdale (Cheryl) and her brother Greg (Karen) Hopkins. She will be remembered by her nieces Jessica (Brad) and Nicole (Raymond). Heather is predeceased by her husband Ralph Barnsdale and her parents Catherine and Howard Hopkins of Beaverton. She will be sadly missed by her many cousins, friends and extended family.

Heather Ann Barnsdale grew up in Beaverton but recently resided in Woodville. She was a PSW with Lakeview Manor from December 1990 and retired in September 2014. As she was enjoying retirement she found love again with John Cooper. She enjoyed crafting, took part in a walking club and enjoyed her ongoing “coffee club” with her friends.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the Beaverton Legion on June 27, 2026 from 1-4 P.M. If so desired, memorial donations to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
