Beatrice “Bea” Forster

Passed away peacefully with family by her side, on March 24, 2026, at the age of 81.

Bea was born in Hungary and immigrated with her family to Canada, settling in Straffordville, ON.

Bea became a teacher and met her husband, Dennis Dockx. They took over the family farm and soon welcomed two daughters, Laura and Heather.

The next chapter brought Bea and her daughters to Simcoe, where she proudly opened her own successful retail business. She then met Doug Forster and his daughters, Sherry and Tracey who she had a special bond with. Bea and Doug shared a wonderful life together and loved spending time with family and friends in Turkey Point, Normandale and Florida. She was predeceased by her husband Doug (2022).

Beatrice “Bea” Forster was a caring, devoted, loving person. She found pleasure in family and cherished time spent with her grandchildren. She was most proud of them and their accomplishments.

She enjoyed reading, playing golf, gardening, coffee, lunch and shopping dates with friends. She regularly attended church services and enjoyed the friends and fellowship. She had a keen sense of style and took pride in her home and gardens. Bea will be missed by all and leaves behind a legacy of love and friendships.

Loving stepmother of Sherry Moraca (Serge) and Tracey Ivanyshyn (Bruce).

Cherished nana/granny Bea of Eric, Sarah, Carlin, Abbey, Sarah, Kate, and Ashley, and great-grandmother to their respective families.

Survived by sister Margaret De Bruyne (Gus), brother-in-law Fred Small (Dianne), John Forster (Jane), sister-in-law Gail Browne (Edward) and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her father Stephan Tittmann, mother Theresa Herman (2012), stepfather Tony Herman (1984), and sister Mary Small (2016).

Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at a later date.
