It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Glenn S. Hughes on Saturday, March 7th, 2026, at the age of 87. He passed quietly at home.
Husband of 66 years to Carol (Huntly) Hughes. Son of Margaret (Kane) Hughes and Everett Hughes. Brother of Peter Hughes (deceased), Howard Hughes, Tom Hughes, Patricia (Hughes) Maeson (deceased).
Father to Stephen Hughes, David Hughes, and Karen (Hughes) O'Mailley.
Grandfather to Tyler Hughes, Ryan Hughes, and Jessica (Pinkerton) Murphy, Shane Pinkerton, and Blane Pinkerton.
Great Grandfather to Ryleigh Hughes, Madeline Murphy, and James Murphy.
Funeral Arrangements entrusted to THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE (1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, 905-579-6787). A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
