With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. Jim passed away peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital on August 20, 2026 at the age of 78. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 56 years, Linda. Loving father of Mathew Burley (Mel), Craig Burley, the late Jennifer Covert and the late Kathy Burley. Cherished poppa to Tyson, Carter, Devan, Ariel, Owen, Abby, Blair, Declan, Fionn and Keely.
Dear brother of Patricia Tymchuk (Teedor), William Burley and the late Doreen Hannigan (Paddy). Brother-in-law of Shelva Smith (Ken), Betty Atkins (Denis), the late Bob Atkins (Carolyn) and the late Patricia House (late Jeff). His nieces and nephews will sadly miss him.
A visitation will be held at the Centreton Community Centre on Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
