HENDRICKS, Chuck Hendricks

The family wishes to announce the passing of their beloved husband, father and grandfather, Charles Marcel Hendricks “Chuck” on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at the age of 68 years. Loving husband and best friend of 48 years to Pat (nee Volkaert). Devoted father to Melissa Dewachter and her husband Chris, Nadine Hendricks-Sena and her husband Kristian. Proud “PC” (Papa Charlie) to Allison, William and Leo. Loving son-in-law to Elda Volkaert. Wonderful brother to Judy Calvert and her husband Jim. Brother-in-law to Deb Pittock and her husband Dave, Joe Volkaert and his wife Sherry, and Joyce

Hendricks-Haddock. Chuck was a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Raymond and Kathaleen (nee Burger), brother Don Hendricks, and father-in-law Joe Volkaert. Chuck was a natural born leader, with a great sense of humour and a larger-than-life personality. He touched the lives of many people with his kindness as well as his gift for animated storytelling. In 1983 he helped start J/E Bearing and Machine Limited alongside his family. His dedication to the business and its employees, made it a meaningful part of his legacy. Outside of his work, his passion for Softball allowed him to enjoy a highly decorated career spanning over 50 years not only as a catcher, but also as a coach and mentor.

Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held.  A Celebration of Life will be held for Chuck at the Tillsonburg Soccer Club, 275 Quarter Town Line, Tillsonburg, ON N4G 4G8  on Saturday, April 25th, 2026 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm.
