PROVENZANO, Ottavio Provenzano

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ottavio “Benny” Provenzano, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the age of 84.

Beloved husband of 52 years to Ida. Loving father to Mauro, Daniela, and Paul. Honoured father-in-law to Lydia, Carlo, and Susanna. Cherished and adoring Nonno to Luca, Matteo, Giovanni, and Valentina.

Dear brother to Ottorino (Teresa), and brother‑in‑law to Maria, Gina, Amelia, Maria (Aldo—predeceased), Nicola (Angela), Amerigo (Ida), Mafalda (Domenico), Ettore (Lisa), and Jim (Pina—predeceased). Benny is predeceased by his brothers Antonio, Aqualino, Mario, Carmine, Alfredo, Settimio and by his sister Adelina (Francesco). He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Benny will be remembered as a fun‑loving, hardworking family man who truly enjoyed life, and whose love for his family was the heart of everything he did. He had a special gift for making others feel valued and welcomed, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He found joy in playing the mandolin, tending his garden, and sharing time over a game of cards. His legacy lives on in the laughter he inspired, the memories he created, and the love he gave so freely.

Visitation will be held at De Stefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 8:00 pm.

A funeral service will be held at De Stefano Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 10 am, followed by the Burial at Thornton Cemetery, Thornton Road North, Oshawa.
